Biography
Based in both California and North Carolina, Ryan Hollander has performed across the United States and internationally.
Ryan has been studying music classically since the age of four. HIs range is wide, from classical to rock and roll, from reggae to R&B, from popular standards to his own original songs. Ryan’s musical influences include Billy Joel, O.A.R., Jason Mraz, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Bob Marley, Meat Loaf, and Third Eye Blind.
Ryan was the star and the executive producer of "Rockin' With Ryan," a live-to-tape cable TV series, which aired three times a week in North Carolina. Each show was packed with music and included trivia about the songs. Frequently, the shows featured special segments such as a guest performers or a behind-the-scenes studio tour.
Ryan's fourth album, "Heart and Soul," released in March 2010, contains ten original songs and is currently sold in stores throughout the United States and through CDBaby.com.
His third album, "You're What It Takes," released in January 2006, was the number 1 best-selling local album in North Carolina Borders bookstores for twelve weeks after its release.
Ryan's music has been featured on radio and TV across the country including North Carolina Top 40 radio stations 107.5 KZL, 88.5 WFDD, and 600 WSJS, and TV stations WGHP Fox 8 and WXII Channel 12.
"Rock For A Healthy New Year," now in its tenth year, is an annual charity event. The mission of "Rock for a Healthy New Year" is to unite communities in support of patients and the health professionals who treat them. Thousands of people have joined in and contributed to "Rock for a Healthy New Year" events.
As founder of Burning Ice Inc., Ryan has recorded and/or produced music for over a half dozen other artists.
